Quick question: should I be using GetThings/PutThings, or the methods in the HealthRecordAccessor class to read/write data?
The SDK samples I've been studying all seem to use the HealthRecordAccessor class. Are there any samples or examples of how to use the other methods? Are there any significant differences between the two approaches?
All of the SDK mechanisms to read/write data go through the HV Platform GetThings and PutThings methods. The .NET SDK wrap these in different ways depending upon the complexity of what you are trying to do. The simplest way is to use the methods of HealthRecordAccessor
but these don't give you much flexibility in declaring filters and views on the data you are retrieving. HealthRecordSearcher provides much more flexibility but isn't as easy to use.
