Silverlight Plug In Unresponsive


  • Forgive me for posting this again, I know it has been posted in the past. None of the recommendations I have found solved my issues though. 

    Each time I attempt to play anything in Netflix, the browser will freeze temporarily and after a moment I will recieve the javascript alert stating the Silverlight Plug In is unresponsive.
    I primarily use Chrome, but I have tested in IE9 and Firefox to no avail. The same issue occurs in each browser. The issue is also crashing Windows Media Center when I attempt to use Netflix there.

    I have Vista Ultimate x64. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled Silverlight multiple times which has not worked to solve the issue. I also attempted to install Silverlight 3 but Netflix' website said I must have an updated version- and neither works. I contacted Netflix out of curiousity, and they of course directed me to Silverlight forums.
