Can't add New Relic service

    Question

  • I'm trying to add the New Relic monitoring service through the Azure Store. However, in the subscription dropdown on the sign-up screen the subscription I want to monitor says: "<subscription name> (Not eligible for Store)".

Can anyone tell me why this subscription would not be eligible and how I might make it so?

Thanks for any help on this.

  • Hi,

Here is the guide for how to use New Relic monitoring service:

    http://www.windowsazure.com/en-us/develop/net/how-to-guides/new-relic/

If still having any issue, please contact New Relic directly using the contact address from the publishment page of New Relic in Marketplace: https://support.newrelic.com/

    Thanks,

  • Thanks for the reply. The problem isn't with New Relic though. I am able to install it just fine. The problem is with my subscription. It doesn't matter which Add-On I'm trying to install, when I go to select my subscription it says "Not eligible for Store".

Any idea why that would be? My test subscription is selectable, just not my production subscription.

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

For the subscription issue, I have no right to handle it. Hope your understanding. I suggest you can read this topic about subscription first to make sure you meet it or not, then use the support link at the end of page:

  • Same here, when I try to add New Relic add-on it says: Could not purchase add-on NewRelic. Please try again later.

Clicking on Details it simply says: Internal Server Error

  • I can't add it either - when trying to add New Relic through the Windows Azure Add On Store I always get the following message on step 2 which prevents me from adding it:

We cannot provide a billing estimate at this time. Please try again later. If this error persists, contact support with the following information.

(The market on the billing account does not match the market on the user account (DM - ActivityId = xxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxx))

I would like some help to understand:

    1) Why this might be happening?

    2) Whether I need to add it in this way or can I simply sign up directly to New Relic, add the component to my Azure Website/Cloud Service via Nuget and configure it with my New Relic key?

    EDIT:
I received the following answer to this via Stack Overflow:http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17482510/cant-add-new-relic-through-windows-azure-add-on-store
