Share the business case of share point

When I review all the threads in the forum, I found that all the topics are really too techinical. Is it possible for us to combine the business case and techinical realization? I believe with more business cases listed for share point, this application will be more popular.

I would like to share one of the business case for share point first. it's can be realized by embeded function of sharepoint.  

I use sharepoint to collect the votes of the end users. when I want to deliver a training to the users, I will let them vote which topic they think as most important. with this way, it make my training more efficient and more focus.
