HELP can not open preview with 4800x2700 RGB24 resolution on WinXP 64 system RRS feed

  • 问题

  • Hi,

    I have a webcam which support 4800x2700 RGB24 resolution.

When I wanted to open preview using GraphEditer on WinXP 64 system, I got an error message "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service (0×800705AA)".

I can preview normally on WinXP 32 and Win7 64 systems on the same machine.

Is this a limitation of DS on WinXP 64 system?

    Thanks~

  • Hi Kenny

What is GraphEditer? What is DS?

We don’t know about your webcam. If you are using some SDK provided by your webcam vendor, the best way to resolve such question is to contact them.

    Cheers,

    Yi

  • Hi Yi,

    Thanks for your reply.

I'm using GraphEdit.exe provided in DirectShow SDK to open a 4800x2700 RGB24 preview.

To open this preview, GraphEdit need to allocate about 36MB memory to each frame, and I got

an error message "Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service (0×800705AA)".

I want to know if it is a limitation of DirectShow on WinXP 64bit system.

ps: I don't know how to submit my question to Directshow Deveopment category, so I submit here.

    Thanks again for your help.

  • Hi Kenny,

I don't know much about directshow. I suggest you post your question to our English DirectShow forums (http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsdirectshowdevelopment/threads).

    Cheers,

    Yi
