What's the triger of OnApplyTemplate

     I use a self-defined control, but the OnApplyTemplate can not be called. I have compare carefully with the demo code, which can call the OnApplyTemplate, can not find anything.

    So I wonder what's trigger of OnApplyTemplate, how to control this function called or not called?

Maybe the" DefaultStyle = typeof(YourCustomControl)"

Thanks for reply. But the answer is that the style must sit in the specific Themes/Generic.xaml. I want to kill MS, why, must be the specific forder and file name!!
