'DefaultAppPool' failed to respond to ping error on windows 2003 server with PHP 5.2.11

Question

Hello Friends,

I have installed joomla(Ver 1.5.14 stable full package) CMS in windows 2003 server and when more than 100 users accessed the website we encountered error as

"A process serving application pool 'DefaultAppPool' failed to respond to ping"

Configuration as follows:
Server : Windows 2003 server & IIS6
PHP : PHP 5.2.11
MySQL : MySQL 5.0.51

PHP running in ISAPI mode.

Even I have enabled cache and Gzib in joomla which is of no improvement.
And the website is occupying more memory and 100% CPU usage, and then the error is reported.

Please help me with a solution for this asap its very important for me. And also kindly let me know the server configuration for this installation.
