IIS是否可以在Windows Server 2003 64-bit上安装使用？

OS: Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition 64-bit

 

在add/remove windows component中没有IIS组件

 

在Windows帮助关于IIS的OVERVIEW的最后，有如下描述：

Note

This feature is not available on Windows® XP 64-Bit Edition and the 64-bit versions of the Windows® Server 2003 family. For more information, see Features unavailable on 64-bit versions of the Windows Server 2003 family.

 

但是，在Features unavailable on 64-bit versions of the Windows Server 2003 family中，却没有明确指出IIS是unavailable，只是有几个看似和IIS相关的服务被列出。

 

在Microsoft TechNet的Windows Server 2003 TechCenter中，有篇文章：

Running 32-bit Applications on 64-bit Windows (IIS 6.0)

是否是这样：IIS 6.0不能完全在64-bit上支持，但可以通过手工安装，运行32-bit程序。
