html tabel height 百分比没效果

Question

在table中嵌套了table,如何让里面table的高根据外面table的高来变化呢？
代码如下：
<table width="500px" height="500px">
      <tr><td>
              <table width="100%" height="100%">   //其中width有用，height没效果，请问如何解决
                       <tr><td>gogo</td></tr>
              </table>
      </td></tr>
</table>

外面的高也可以不用定义，在<td>里定义高即可，给table 定高度不是一个标准的做法。
