USB devices must be certified by the USB Implementers Forum (USB‑IF) to receive a Windows logo. RRS feed

  • Two new Windows Logo requirements are CONNECT‑0093 and BUSPORT‑0034. The CONNECT-0093 requirement states that USB devices must be certified by the USB Implementers Forum (USB‑IF) to receive a Windows logo. Similarly, the BUSPORT-0034 requirement states that USB host controllers on a system must be certified by the USB-IF for the system to receive a Windows logo. These new requirements are effective on June 1, 2010, and affect both PC manufacturers and device vendors.

    Impact

    I think it will impact China local Windows hardware logo due to high cost up!
