Exchange 2010 Certificate RRS feed

  • 问题

  • So I installed a new Exchange 2010 Enterprise Server back in December on a stand-alone non-domain controller machine.  Every single Outlook client is being prompted with a certificate error exchange.company.local "The name on the security certificate is invalid or does not match the name of the site."  The exchange server is running its own certificate authority, and the current certificate registers as valid in OWA outside the organization, but these Outlook clients are not accepting it.  I need the certificate to be valid both inside and outside the network... please help!

  • Hi,

The error message indicates that the common name that you specified when you generated the certificate request for that Web site does not match the URL that is used to access the Web site. If you need the certificate to valid both inside and outside the network, you must insure that they use the same domain name access the web site. For the detailed information, you can refer to:

As this is a Chinese forum, it is recommended you get further support at Exchange forum. Thanks for understanding!
