class filter driver: how to pass WHQL.

Question

we have a usb class filter driver, and we will release this driver to customer.

do we need to make this class filter driver to pass WHQL?

how to pass WHQL with this class filter?

It seems this class filter driver can't produce a oemxx.inf in the C:\windows\inf directory.

Filter Driver也要使用 INF 来安装。 安装可调用驱动程序安装API来完成。不要试图直接复制INF到任何系统文件夹中。UAC会阻止这样的操作。

申请WHQL是必要的，因为需要获取数字签名。尤其是64位版本。

filter driver 在安装时不会在C:\windows\inf 中建立副本。这可能导致一个DTM测试项chkinf失败。但这个错误可以被Errata filter过滤掉。
