  • i am planning to the clone disk for that i am using bootbcd

    1. create windows partition on the destination disk. copy data from the source windows volume .

    2. create system reserved partition on destination disk and update boot files and entires. 

    lets say my destination windows volume E: and destination system volume S: i am planning to copy boot files using below command

    e.g bcdboot E:\Windows /s S:

    my question does this alter any boot records or files on the original disk ?,
