Setting Up KDNET Network Kernel Debugging Automatically -> unsupported NIC RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

Following this link : Setting Up KDNET Network Kernel Debugging Automatically
    (https://docs.microsoft.com/zh-tw/windows-hardware/drivers/debugger/setting-up-a-network-debugging-connection-automatically)

at "Setting Up the Host and Target Computers" step 5, I got problem as below

    C:\KDNET>kdnet

    Failed to parse the busparams:PCI  97 0 0
    Failed to parse the busparams:PCI  97 0 1
Network debugging is not supported on any of the NICs in this machine.
KDNET supports NICs from Intel, Broadcom, Realtek, Atheros, Emulex, Mellanox and Cisco.

Then I found this link : Supported Ethernet NICs for Network Kernel Debugging in Windows 10
    (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/debugger/supported-ethernet-nics-for-network-kernel-debugging-in-windows-10)

check the Vendor ID and Device ID of my network adapter are "8086" and "1521"

and open C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Debuggers\x64\VerifiedNICList.xml, confirmed that my network adapter should be supported

Any idea about this ? Appreciate for your help !
