[UWP]Pro-grammatically open Action Center on Windows 10?? RRS feed

Answers

  • so less document about windows 10, so many secrets.

    I got a answer, via keyboard: Win + A.

    But I really would like to know APIs(more straightforward way) to achieve that.

    Thanks, anyway.

    Hi Stephan,

    You can use Launcher.LaunchUriAsync method to start this protocol: ms-actioncenter://

    private async void Button_Click(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
    {
                // Create a Uri object from a URI string
                var uri = new Uri("ms-actioncenter://");
                // Launch the URI
                var success = await Windows.System.Launcher.LaunchUriAsync(uri);

                    if (success)
                    {
                        // URI launched
                    }
                    else
                    {
                        // URI launch failed
                    }
    }

  • I've seen a private doc that shows how to do it :( I'm only telling you this in the hope that someone from MS will go, "yeah that's public and here it is".
