  • Hi

    How to handle error if ssis package running well in development but if error occurs in production server how to handle this kind of error in production level?

  • There are some things that logging won't help - like having an incorrect config file that tells you where to log.  For that you'll have to examine the errors that you are seeing when the package executes.  Could be a bad configuration or security issue that is not allowing the log provider to connect to the database.

  • Make sure you have logging enabled so that you can debug your production issues.

  • you have an on error event handler in ssis.

    in which if you will check system variable propogate variable to use skip your error.

    you can use send mail or custom logging in event handler.
