NDIS 5.x WiFi driver under Windows 8.1 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Under Windows 8.1 our NDIS 5.x WiFi adapter is not recognized as a WiFi device anymore. The installation succeeds. And there is a respective WiFi adapter under Network Connections. But netsh complains that there is no WiFi device in the system. And so, no WiFi connection can be established.

Is this a further step to get rid of NDIS 5.x compatiblity?

Besides, under Windows 8 the adapter was still working.
