I am having problem using MSMQ on Windows 2008 Server Cluster. When I try to send messages to virtual queue, messages do not appear in virtual queue.
This is what I did:
I installed msmq service on both Active and passive(?) nodes. Also, I added MSMQ resource on Cluster based on http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd897482(BTS.10).aspx
It created another msmq service instance on virtual node.
After doing this, when I queue a message to msmq queue on virtual, I do not see those messages on the queue on virtual. What could be the problem?
(P.S. when I queue a message to Local node, I am able to see those messages on the queue on Local.)
There is a hotfix that will help.FIX: Error "0xc00e0003" is returned when you send messages between instances of Message Queuing 4.0 that are running on a Windows Server 2008-based computer

I tried all of those hotfixes. Mine is Windows 2008 Server. No R2. I tried both. Both setups give me error: "The update does not apply to your system".
However, after a little bit of troubleshooting, I came to know that DNS name on the cluster msmq was incorrect. I am able to send messages to cluster/virtual queue.
Thank you anyways.
