Certification Test Tool shows "Not Executed" for Python Version check RRS feed

  • Question

  • Although Python version 3.7 is installed on the VM, the certification tool fails to check the Python version.

The status is " Not execited" and the result  is "Failed to execute Test".

Can this messages be ignored ?

  • We are running the 'certification Test Tool 1.3 for Azure' in order to certify our custom Linux image for the Azure Marketplace.

One of the tests is named Python Version - Python version 2.6+ is highly recommended, and the test result is 'not executed'.

Yet if I go on the machine itself:

    python -V
    Python 3.7.1

There is no Python 2 version installed, only this Python 3.7
