Azure Search Service for multiple data source RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I am using azure search in following scenario where I have stored (Title,Desc,ContentPath) records in Azure table and content data which I have stored in blob storage. I have saved blob storage path in azure table.

I want to search result in Title,Desc and Content(which stored in blob), if search found in either of these I will get result along with content data.

I have setup my service but I was getting two record if search was found both blob and table storage, I want to get this in single result.

    Thanks

  • Hi Chandresh,

Azure Search can import, analyze, and index data from multiple data sources into a single combined search index. This supports situations where structured data is aggregated with less-structured or even plain text data from other sources, like text, HTML, or JSON documents.

Please refer below articles. They have detailed steps on how to achieve the same.

  • Hi,

Thanks for you response , I am referring 2nd article.

Actually I am getting two records in search result if search was found in both table and blob storage, since both are related data so I want result so display in single record by populating both all azure table fields along with content blob storage field, but I am getting following result.

    1. One records populate all azure table fields & blob storage field (content) is null.

    2. Second records populate blob storage field content and other table storage field is null.

Since I have map RowKey (table's unique key) by blob UniqueKey(by adding meta data in blob container).

Please suggest do I need anything else to achieve desire result.
