Postscript Printer Driver- File Name RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have written soft printer driver which saves postscript file to the disk through port monitor(ddklocalmon). I want to use

    %%Title:

tag of the postscript file to identify the document name printed. This works fone in English. However, for non english file, this tag value becomes ex:file name Sin título_ Bloc de notas becomes "Sin t\355tulo: Bloc de notas". I believe \335 is language specific character. Is there anyway I can parse this and get back the original file name which is Sin título_ Bloc de notas?

    Thanks

  • Doron,

Its on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit box, Windows 8 x64 (Release preview), Windows XP 32bit. I believe this is common behavior in the case of special character. What I need is to get back the actual name of the file. How to decode this and get the actual name.

    Please help...
