  • Hello imNeil,

Yes Windows 8.1 app can install on Windows 10 OS. How do you want to deploy your app, from the dashboard or just sideload this app to another OS?

If you just want to sideload your app, you can create app package and run the powershell script. For details you can follow steps below:

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/jj874388.aspx

If you want to install it through dashboard, I think just upload Windows 8.1 package to dashboard is OK.

By the way, if you want to get benefit from UWP apps, I think you'd better switch to develop a new Windows 10 UWP app.

    Best regards,

    Barry
