Can't submit because app name is unavailable RRS feed

    Admittedly this is a bit of a problem of my own making...

    Between me and a colleague we have two different store accounts. We started a submission on one account before realizing that we should be using the other one, so we deleted the submission on the first account and tried using the second one. Unfortunately the second account was now reporting the name of the app as taken even though we deleted the submission from the first account.

    If it takes a few days for the "name reservation" to flush out of the system, that's fine. But I'm worried that it might be weeks or months, which isn't fine - the app already exists on other platforms so I can't tweak the name. The name in question is "Kleio Flashcards".

  • Hi mfayer,

    After deleting the App Submission, you will need to release the Reservation on the App Name. You can do this, by changing the Reserved App Name, which will then cause the original name to be released.
