[UWP] Distributing xbf files through NuGet for Windows 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am trying to package a set of assemblies containing a custom control to work via NuGet for Windows 10.

For earlier versions of Windows this kind of structure worked fine:

When packaged through lib\uap10.0 it seems that Windows 10 app always fails to load xbf. Is this a known bug or one should do something differently now?

  • What do you mean "fails to load xbf"?

How did you package your control? using NuGet command?

  • Yes, I create packages using NuGet.exe. (I've just illustrated the case using NuGet Package Explorer).

By failing to load I meant that the User/Custom Control will either not be visible at all or will throw XamlParseException errors on the client app.
