  • Hi,

I have some questions about this.

What about a blank app without the background task? Also what does the error report said? What's the error message?

    Best regards,

    Roy

  • Hi,

The error message said the app will crash after launch. Have you tried to run it in release mode?

What about a blank app? Will it failed?

    Best regards,

    Roy

  • The app in release mode is working 100% correct (2 days already with no crashes, hangs, etc.). I post the blank project- this project can't pass "crashes and hangs" test!

  • Hi,

I packaged your app and run the WACK test on different devices with build 17763 and build 17134. None of the test if failed in the WACK test. I'm using the same version of Visual Studio as you did.

Currently you could try to upgrade you OS version to build 17763 and try again. The local WACK test is optional and there will be another WACK test in the store when you upload your package to the store. So another suggestion for this issue is that you could try to directly upload the empty project to the store to see if there will be error during the WACK test.

    Best regards,

    Roy

  • From one day my app Is live in Windows Store, without problems, but it didn't passed at least 20 tests on local machine?!?!?!

For sileloading it didn't passed only one test- "crashes and hangs", but it works without any problems almost a week to present.

    Very strange situation!

  • Hi,

The local test doesn't mean the final WACK test. The local WACK tool might has some problems sometimes. When you upload the app to the store, it will be compiled again and run the test again.

    Best regards,

    Roy
