should i cancel the release? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone.

I submitted an app to the store and leave the privacy statement (because it was an optional choice) but my app is using Internet capability.

my app is in-certification mode and passed three phases.

    Now in Content compliance.

Should i cancel the release now because if it 'll response back after 5 days then this would be a wastage of time.

Should i cancel the release and provide the privacy statement by hosting a web page and in setting. or wait for completion?

Second thing is that if i cancel the release then how many day 'll be required to in-certification?

    same days?

  • I would cancel the release. It is kind of mandatory to have privacy statement if your app is using internet. In case there is no privacy statement or link, then I would suggest cancel and resubmit.

You will be really lucky if certification passes without privacy statement when app is using internet.

It will be again go through same testing cycle, it doesn't matter if we have code changes or just document change.

    Thanks,
    Sachin
