  • Please fire the whole customer developer support team as they are giving very very bad, and very anoying support. Please fill the customer support team with knowledgeable persons who are giving real support and not giving template or dummy answers!

    The support team:
    1.) Usually closing the tickets without solving the problem.
    2.) Saying that the problem is solved, but it is NOT solved!
    3.) Saying that another problem is solved, but this problem is NOT related to the ticket problem and closing the ticket
    4.) Giving template answers to the tickets like a zombie robot
    5.) They are NOT escalating the ticket to the bug fixing team instead they are replaying that the next week they will check the problem again. Of course the problem will exist if nobody solving it. They doing it in an infinite cycle or until they just closing the ticket.

    It is very very very anoying!!
    It is very very very much waste of time!
    It does not worth to work with Microsoft if Microsoft not changing this strategy/support persons.

    Usually it is a waste of time if you not working with a professional people/company!

    I can see that you are frustrated. Would you please provide the SR # for any open cases you have so we can review them and then address any specific concerns you have with those cases?

  • It's not only the developer support, the whole reporting system is very unreliable, stats are broken, no total number of downloads available, reviews are appearing and disappearing, one cannot publish new apps, seriously what's going on ??

    Yes, the whole reporting system is also very unreliable, broken on every week. It is not possible to rely on it by a day-by-day basis. Simply unusable, not just now, but in the last 5 years!! (begining from the end of 2010 when wp started)

    Also it is very hard to belive that why only: last month, last 3-6-12 months are available and why not "all time" and custom reports? Who designed the Windows Store Dashboard?
    Also transfering apps from one account to another is why not automatic and why not possible when you use IAP?

    Thanks for providing the SR numbers for your cases. I looked over your cases and all of the agents handling them have been in contact with you to provide updates as they are available so I suggest that you respond to each case directly if you have any specific questions about the status and/or resolution provided. Some issues may take more time depending on the root cause and complexity so updates may not be available right away.

    Also, any time a case is closed and you feel the issue is unresolved you should reply to that case to express your concern and we are happy to revisit the issue.

    I missed one other bad thing about the customer support:

    6.) They are lying!

    See my case: 1323090022

    I created a ticket at 01/19/2016 with this error description:

    PubCenter Custom date range reporting gives incorrect values.
    For example the estimated revenue is 10(ten!)-times lower.
    Example report attached was for 05.2015

    After that I received every 3 days that:
    "I just wanted to follow up with you to inform that we are still working on this issue."

    Until now, when I received this:

    "I have received an update concerning the revenue reporting drop in
    pubCenter. At this time, pubCenter reporting has been phased out and is
    now obsolete, meaning it is no longer expected to be accurate and
    should not be relied upon. Going forward, you will need to be utilizing
    the available reporting as it is seen in your Windows Developer
    Dashboard. I hope this helps to guide you appropriately, but do you
    have any questions or require additional support?"

    So the customer support guy laying that " we are still working on this issue"! Infact they just do nothing!!

    DevCenter analitic is exremly unusable. No possibility for creating custom reports nor for creating all time report(only 1-3-6-12 months).

    In the past I really liked Microsoft, because how they are treating developers and how they are professional, but now I have a feeling that the whole customer support and the whole Microsoft is "obsolete, meaning it is no longer expected to be accurate and should not be relied upon"

    The support lying that
    "There is not fix for this as it is not an issue, but the current design of the Dev Center. If you wish to manage House Ads through Ad Mediator, you can submit a Windows Phone 8.1 app package for your apps. I realize this is not the answer you are wanting, but this is what we currently support. To send a request to the appropriate channel for support of Windows Phone 8.0 Silverlight apps in this capacity for House Ads, you should use the Feedback section available on the Dev Center."

    I have received words from Microsoft, that what supports are saying is totally false:
    "House Ads work on *all* ad units owned by the same developer, the SDK version used does not matter"

    Please fire the whole customer support team as they are lying(!!) and doing nothing!

  • Hello Devtommy,

    This issue was reviewed back in September of 2015 by the Ad Mediator team and they determined at that time that House Ads will not be supported by Ad Mediator with Windows Phone 8.0 Silverlight apps. I am sorry that you are unhappy with this answer.

    Making statements that support is "lying" will not change the results and is not a productive way to interact with the Dev Center support team.
