VAST integration in C#

Question

Is VAST not supported on anything but the JS version of the ADs SDK?  Is there a reason for this if that is the case?

Is there a way to parse the VAST and get it to work with the C# version of the mediaplayerelement?  I know how to enter the media breaks and insert the AD urls, but still need a way to parse the VAST xml and handle the clickthrough and events.

Showing Ads in video content is currently supported only for UWP apps that are written using JavaScript with HTML. You could see more details in document: Show Ads in video content

There may be no common method for this, could you submit a feedback at Uservoice site so that MSFT might will add it to their to-do-list based on your idea?
