Windows Phone 8.1: App crashes after uploading to the store RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have created an app for Windows Phone 8.1 with the MvvmCross framework.
We have tested the app via sideloading on a handful of different test devices. The App also works very well on all different emulators. Than we decided to upload the app to the store as a beta version. The Problem: After about 1-2 hours the testers were able to download and test the app, but now the app crashes on all devices. The Problem appears when a tester wants to select our demo mode. From our logfile we get this information:

    11:42:41 | Verbose: mvx:Diagnostic:  3,08 Showing ViewModel OverviewViewModel
    11:42:41 | Verbose: BaseViewModel: SaveStateToBundle
    11:42:41 | Verbose: BaseViewModel: InvokeSafe
    11:42:42 | Verbose: BaseViewModel: InitFromBundle
11:42:42 | Verbose: mvx:Warning:  3,23 Problem initialising viewModel of type OverviewViewModel - problem TargetInvocationException: [Arg_TargetInvocationException]

We have also tried to deploy the .appx-file direct to the emulator or phone which caused no issues. The problem only occures after installing the app from the store.
