Photo Chooser Task Problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I want to choose photo from task and use this photo as a public.

    For example,

    chooser = newPhotoChooserTask();

    chooser.Completed += PickImageCallback;

    chooser.Show();

    I've defined these codes in mainpage. Then, I wrote this code

    PhotoResulte = new PhotoResult();

    as a public.

    Then, I've tried use these function :

    privateasyncTaskRender()

            {
    varimagestreamrender = newStreamImageSource(e.ChosenPhoto);

                e.ChosenPhoto.Position = 0;
                beraywriteablebitmap.SetSource(e.ChosenPhoto);
           }
    Even if there is no error, e.choosenphoto comes null always.

                Thanks,

  • Hello Beray,

    Please see the following on how to use the PhotoChooserTask:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsphone/develop/hh394019(v=vs.105).aspx

    In the completion routine you will get the PhotoResult which you can then assign to a public variable of the class if you would like.

    Thanks, but I don't have any problem with PhotoChooserTask. I am using dataBoundList (Telerik Rad Control), and I want to render image again by this control.

  • Hi Beray,

       I do not understand your question.   Can you clarify what you are trying to do?  Sample code that illustrates the issue is helpful.   I thought you were having problems getting a photo.  It sounds like you can get the photo.  So what are you doing after you get it, what do you expect, and what is going wrong?
