Class Library (Windows Store apps) VS. Windows Runtime Component

If I right-click my solution and select Add New Project in Visual Studio 2012 (Windows 8), two of the choices are "Class Library (Windows Store apps)" and "Windows Runtime Component". Why would I ever choose Windows Runtime Component? I've tried to find the difference by reading different things on the web, but the definitions I've found so far are not clear.

Hi Randy,

in simple words:

if you choose "Windows Runtime Component", you're able to built reusable components that can be used in Windows Store Apps developed with C#/VB.NET OR C++ or even HTML/JavaScript. If you choose Class Library, you can just use it from C#/VB.NET.
