Class Library (Windows Store apps) VS. Windows Runtime Component RRS feed

  • Question

  • If I right-click my solution and select Add New Project in Visual Studio 2012 (Windows 8), two of the choices are "Class Library (Windows Store apps)" and "Windows Runtime Component". Why would I ever choose Windows Runtime Component? I've tried to find the difference by reading different things on the web, but the definitions I've found so far are not clear.

    Thanks,

    Randy
