  • Hi Latin,

    When I try executing the sample application https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowsapps/ChatterBox-VoIP-sample-app-b1e63b8b in Windows 8 the emulator is loaded and error is thrown like "Windows phone not able to connect with the Windows phone Operating System"

    Is it possible to run as the store app in the desktop without loading the phone ?

  • Hi

    try the following;

    1.go to your network and sharing center

    2.go to change adapter setting

    3.go to v Ethernet (internal Ethernet port windows phone emulator internal switch)

    4.right click it and enable it - if you find it already enabled, disable it, then enable it again

    let us know how you go

    thanks

  • Hello lyf4sci,

    >>error is thrown like "Windows phone not able to connect with the Windows phone Operating System"

    This is usually caused by the emulator is not working properly, have a try to follow this link to troubleshooting this:

    The sample is made target to the windows phone silverlight app, it has to be open with a phone device or the emulator.

    Regards.
