Windows Store Keyword. Is app name keyword by default ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have published my app.

For example it has a name "TestName +"

Before published I set key word without my app title.

    For example

    "Help yourself"

    "Help you"

    "Good".

After I have publish it I began to search.

    I enter my app name

"TestName" or "TestName +" I saw alot of app. Which is not match with this keyword.

But i didn't see my app in search result at all. It didn't exist on all 10 pages search result.

I began to enter keyword one by one.

And there was no my app in search result. I understand that my app will not be on the top, but that it will not visible at all ??

After I entered my authot name I saw it. This is only one way to find it.

Q1. Does your app name is not keyword by default ?

Q2. What is default keyword in windows phone store ? As I can understood author name

Q3. How keyword engine at windows phone store works at all ? Why i give my app keyword but it doesn't apply ?

  • It should work. When was your app published in app store? I guess you should wait for about a week before searching on app store.
