Can I submit my metro app to Windows Store now? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have registered a Windows Live ID account, and developed a metro style app on Win8 Release Preview, but it seems that Windows Store is closed for developers now, is it true?

    1) When will the Windows Store be open for developers? The day Win8 Release Candidate publishes?

    2) Did Windows Store have opened from Win8 Custom Preview and closed from Win8 Release Preview?

  • Hi,

Currently in order to be a developer for  Windows 8 apps, you will need a developer token to register. These tokens are provided to developers who attend a developer dev Camp. You can register for one of these Developer Camps at the following link.

Between the Windows 8 Consumer Preview and Release Preview the Store was closed for submissions to allow for updates.
