  • Hello Blainelee163,

Probably you man have to change both, because of programming model has been changed in WinRT.

Here is lots of resources for porting Windows Phone 7 to Windows 8 App.

    1) From Windows Phone 7 to Windows 8 Metro, one app's journey

     2) Porting apps to Windows 8 Metro

    Hope it helps.

  • Thank you for your message. at the same time I guess you misunderstood my question. my question is about the porting Windows 8 WinRT App (Metro App) to Windows Phone 8. because the core is same and the programming model is also same (WinRT), so I'm wondering the effort to port the App.
