CurrentApp.LoadListingInformationAsync() returns error "Exception from HRESULT: 0x801900CC" RRS feed

  • Question

  • Greetings,

We have a Windows Store app that is completely data driven by in app purchase content.

Using the current app simulator things work fine, our purchaseable items are checked against our simulator-in-app-purchase.xml, thus we are able to populate our application with data.

On uploading our app to the store for certification we have switched to using "CurrentApp" calls instead of "CurrentAppSimulator" calls, we have set the release date to 22/10/2012 as required by our schedule, but we are failing certification.

This is being caused by CurrentApp.LoadListingInformationAsync() returning error: Exception from HRESULT: 0x801900CC

Because of this our application can't load any content, as it has no data for our items from the windows store. So we handle the error, and inform the user there was a problem connecting to the store, the application then has to quit.

Any solutions to the above store problem would be gratefully received.
