Desktop App Converter: Setup fails, cannot create virtual network. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am trying to setup the DesktopApp Converter tool but have a problem when running the setup, it fails at the stage where it tries to create a virtual network. I have tried on a virtual machine and on a physical device but the same error occurs.

The error text (this is the error log running the setup a second time so the base image has already been extracted):

  • Hi,

Please see the Known Issue we have posted in this document: Desktop App Converter Preview (Project Centennial)

If you receive a Windows Insider flight on a developer machine that previously had the Desktop App Converter Preview installed, you may receive the error New-ContainerNetwork: The object already exists when you setup the new base image. As a workaround, run the command Netsh int ipv4 reset from an elevated command prompt, then reboot your machine.

Try this workaround and looking forward to getting your good news:)
