Change Device Subscription to ARM RRS feed

  • Hi.

    Current physical STORSIMPLE device 8100 and resources are in the N Europe (classic) region. We are trying to change to ARM in UK south. Is it possible to change the subscription with or without downtime? Any documentation and guidance is appreciated.

  • thanks, yes I did go through it but there is no migration path mentioned to migrate the device subscription?

  • You can migrate from Classic to ARM without downtime. But when you want to migrate from moving data-centers from North Europe to UK South is not supported. This is the current document which we have here to help you understand clearly.

    A storage account from one Azure data-center to another is not supported and requires downtime to do factory reset which wipe out all the data in the Storsimple. Also, you can not transfer storsimple service from one subscription to another one. Hope this helps you!
