Windows Azure - SQL Data Services (Service Unavailable) RRS feed

  • Hi guys,

    I am in the Management portal and my Databases, Data Sync and Reporting services have all become unavailable.

  • Hi folks,

    A new portal was recently deployed to Windows and SQL Azure.  This new portal does not currently include Data Sync.  We are working hard trying to get Data Sync to show up in the new portal.  In the mean time, you can still find and use the existing portal.  Please refer to

  • Same here. Windows Azure Management Portal shows Database, Data Sync and Reporting as unavailable.

    Our service is Western Europe. No problem shown on the service dashboard. Is anyone else having this issue?

  • The dashboard is now showing Data Sync is having problems in all regions.

  • I believe this has now been resolved. We have managed a successful sync.

  • That's interesting. I was advised this was fixed yesterday; it was a faulty certificate apparently. We have since managed a successful sync and all appears well on our server in Western EU. You might like to take out a free support ticket to bring it to the engineers attention as it doesn't appear on the dashboard.

  • Thank you for that RickSev. I need to do a sync but I am unable to find how to navigate back to the old portal.
