Svchost.exe giving errors at shutdown

Question
-
My test team is reporting problems with our XPE SP3 image at shutdown where they will intermittently see svchost errors at shutdown. The dialog reads as follows:
svchost.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x7c92c288" referenced memory at "0x00000008". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program.
Please let me know if I can provide any additional information that will assist in troubleshooting this problem.

No USB booting over here, so I don't know if that's a factor or not. We boot from a RAID mirrorset though.Wednesday, June 2, 2010 5:12 PM

The linked provide above in the post is the best solution for this problem. It is hard to pin point what is failing.
