Enabling ASC Standard on Subscription Level vs. Individual Workspace - Billing Implication?

Question

Are there cost implications in enabling Azure Security Center Standard on both a subscription level as well as a workspace level?

I have an existing Log Analytics workspace my servers are configured to that I want to use, but enabling it at workspace level doesn't give me all the features associated with ASC Standard, such as the compliance checks.

Will enabling ASC on both subscription and workspace level charge me double for resources?

No , It wont charge you double. When you enable the ASC on the subscription , it automatically creates a log analytics workspace and the data collected by agents goes in there. The ASC analyses that and provides recommendations and other alerts on teh bass of analyzing that data .
