Endpoint Protection on Security Center

Hey guys, i was checking out the Security Center offerings recently and found that i was able to install the Endpoint Security extension on my Azure VMs very easily, it let me configure exclusions during the setup and everything.

But after i do that how do i manage/monitor all of the Endpoint Protection deployments on the VMs? Is there no dedicated panel for it? Like for changing exclusion policies and stuff.

Do i need Configuration Manager to be able to do that?

You can go to "Microsoft Defender Settings" on your VM to manage endpoint protection like temporarily turning it off on the VM and manage the exclusions list. 

Exclusion

There is no dedicated panel for managing installation of the endpoint protection and it is not recommended however if you want to disable the endpoint protection you need to do it from Group policy.
