Custom control is asking to check out the file when form is opened in VS designer RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I created a custom control and included it in one of my forms. Now when I open my form first time in the visual studio designer, it's asking me to checkout the file. If I cancel it then it's throwing me an error.

I wrote checks for If(!this.DesignMode) in my custom control wherver necessary. Still it's asking me checkout the form.

    Any help!!

  • I found the problem. The code that I have, is trying to change the width or height of the containers. So when this occurs designer is automatically adjusting the form. This is why it's asking to checkout the file to adjust.
