Provisioning certificates in WFF RRS feed

I am trying to figure out how to provision certificates from my primary web farm server (farm servers are 2008 R2, IIS 7.5) to my secondary servers and see that in application provisioning there are cert and httpcert options. I've looked at the msdeploy information for cert (e.g. https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd568971%28WS.10%29.aspx) from the command line, however I've not been able to find any information on how to input the correct data into the 'Path' and 'Settings' fields in application provisioning. And not able to find out any information on the 'httpcert' entry in the app provisioning dropdown either.  I'd like to know the standard practice for provisioning certificates within web farm framework.

    Any help would be appreciated.

As I know, when we install certificates on a primary server,  the Web Farm Framework will automatically replicate and provision the exact same configuration across all of the other web servers in the farm (no manual or additional steps required).

For more information, please refer to the document:

Thank you for your response. Yes I've reviewed that documentation (and many others as well). And accordingly it seems like it all should be automatically provisioned as there is no mention of further configurations. Our set up is fairly basic. One primary, three secondary servers. Provisioning is working as far as the files and GAC assemblies but acl's and certificates are not being provisioned. Under the application provisioning drop-down, there is a cert and httpcert entry. If certs are supposed to be automatically provisioned (which again, is not working for us), then what are those entries for? After seeing the command line webdeploy cert information online, I'm stumped as to why they are even options.
