Unable to publish the azure functions from Visual Studio 2019 RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a Azure Function which is built in .Net Framework 4.6 and recently we have updated the Azure Functions with .Net Framework 4.8 which works good in locally. So we tried to publish this to Live by going to select the existing Azure Function.

    Error:

    Publish has encountered an error.
Publish has encountered an error. We were unable to determine the cause of the error. Check the output log for more details.

A diagnostic log has been written to the following location:
    "C:\Users\bojjaiah.thoti\AppData\Local\Temp\tmp6B2E.tmp"

Can you please suggest me If I missed any settings/configuration.

  • Hi T Bojjaiah,

Please make sure to stop your function app project from running locally before you publish to Azure.

If it still fails, could you please share the log file using one drive.

    Best Regards,

    Dylan
