Authentication

Question

Trying to access https://company.visualstudio.com/DefaultCollection/_git/project  from Sourcetree

I can log in from the browser, I can make and post changes.

When pulling or pushing from SourceTree, it brings up the MS Visual Studio "Sign into your account" dialog.

Using the same account and password, it says "your account or password is incorrect"

If I use a different username, it gives me a different error.

I've changed the password a couple times, no change.

I deleted the Sourcetree password file, no change.

This was working two weeks ago and quit.

I rebooted and it finished installing some updates. No change.

Any other ideas?

This is probably more related to Sourcetreet than to Security Center, but some things to try:
1. Close Sourcetree
2. Delete AppData\Local\Atlassian\SourceTree\passwd 
3. Restart SourceTree
Also, you can try using the old VSTS link format: 
https://*username*.visualstudio.com
