difficulty getting verification code for new account to arrive on mobile phone even though the number is recognised RRS feed

  • Trying to set up a new Microsoft 365 Apps for Business and even though the phone number is recognised, we cant receive the number. Message  is Sorry, we need additional information to verify your identity. Please  contact support. but when we try to contact support it is only for admin users and we cannot contact Microsoft Pittsburgh,PA, UNITED STATES. We would welcome your advice. Many thanks.

  • Did you Signin from an unverified device?

    That message is shown when suspicious activity is detected to access the said account.
