Jmeter - CookieManager Unable to load or invoke class HC4CookieHandler RRS feed

  • Question

  • I get the following error when I would like to run a load test - jmeter - but it fails

    JMeterExecution] - jmeter.protocol.http.control.CookieManager: Unable to load or invoke class: org.apache.jmeter.protocol.http.control.HC4CookieHandler org.apache.jorphan.util.JMeterException: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

     I searched for an answer but I found that I need to set a property in jmeter property file.

    CookieManager.check.cookies=false

    But I don't know where can I set it in when I'm running the jmeter tests in VS Team Services. Can you help me in this?

  • I solved the issue by specifying to use HC3CookieHandler.

    I suspect that the HC4 version requires JMeter 3 while VSTS currently supports only JMeter 2.

  • It seems this no longer working either - I'm getting this error

    jmeter.protocol.http.control.CookieManager: Unable to load or invoke class: org.apache.jmeter.protocol.http.control.HC3CookieHandler org.apache.jorphan.util.JMeterException: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
