Problem with VideoGrabber and Windows.Media.Capture RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Actually, i have a problem that i want to ask. I am currently making project on WPF Application. I am using VideoGrabber in VS 2015 to Record and store the video. When i used my laptop front camera it works perfectly without any problem(delay or Lag). When i used the external Analog camera (Company : MISUMI ELECTRONICS CORP. SN: MO-S5588-3W-P), it takes 8-12 seconds to start Recording. To overcome this problem i found Namespace Windows.Media.Capture on Microsoft official help page, so that i can Record video without any delay and Lag, but i can't import that on VS 2017 Community or VS 2015 Professional.

    Please help me with this, i didn't find any solution on internet. Either with Videograbber if delay and lag is removed, it would be perfect if not then how can i import Windows.Media.Capture (.Capture specifically) to solve this problem or if i am going wrong please tell me the perfect solution.

     private void startrecording12(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
            Vg.StoragePath = getOrCreateProjectPath(videoSettings.projectName);
            Vg.RecordingFileName = generateVideoFileName(videoSettings.projectName);
            Vg.CompressionMode = TCompressionMode.cm_CompressOnTheFly;
            Vg.RecordingMethod = TRecordingMethod.rm_AVI;
            Vg.HoldRecording = true;
            Vg.RecordingCanPause = true;
            btRecord.Visibility = Visibility.Hidden;
            btRecordStop.Visibility = Visibility.Visible;
        private void stoprecording12(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
            isRecording = false;
            btRecord.Visibility = Visibility.Visible;
            btRecordStop.Visibility = Visibility.Hidden;
            lbActiveState.Content = "Recording Completed";
