I Cannot install any version of visual studio. Installation fails! RRS feed

  • I can not install on my laptop any version of visual studio. OS is Windows 10  license.   Visual studio 2012 premium fails with unknown error. I downloaded it from msdn subscription of our university. Both web installer and visual studio iso fails with the same error. Visual studio 2015 community iso file setup begins by showing logo of visual studio and then disappears, after that nothing happens. Studio does not install. Web installer of visual studio 2015 fails with the error on screen 1.       2012 visual studio is shown on screen2   .  Please help me. I am very tired.  I think screens on russian language will not be problem to understand.  If you still don't understand I can translate.  Please help me! SOS!  I will be very grateful for your help.

  • Thank you Sara!  I solved the problem.  The problem was with regional settings of Windows.  But I encounterd with another problem now(  Please could you help me?

    You can upload the screenshots to https://onedrive.live.com/ and share the link here, and I also need your help to collect the VS installation logs. Please use http://aka.ms/vscollect to gather the installation logs. After using it, you will find vslogs.zip under %temp% folder. Please upload and share it.

    At the same time, please verify the integrity of the VS 2015 Community with Update 1 ISO file. You can use the FCIV.exe tool: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/heaths/archive/2011/03/25/verify-the-iso-checksum-for-visual-studio-2010-service-pack-1-before-installing.aspx to get the SHA-1 value and compare it with the expected one “3A0E7BB59C5CC109A2A4AFD66720D65CE08816DC” (Russian version).

    Before installation, please take a look at the following installation tips:

    1. Disable anti-virus and anti-spyware software

    2. Windows update up to date

    3. Run the installer as administrator
